Keynote Speaker
Pastor Sheyna Heard
Pastor Sheyna Heard has been involved in Christian ministry since 1995. She is a founding member of Rohi Temple Of Reconciliation and was ordained as a minister in July 2004. On October 5, 2008, her husband, Pastor Jeffery Heard went home to be with the Lord. It was at this time that the Lord called Sheyna to be the Senior Pastor of Rohi Temple Of Reconciliation.
She is a single mother of two dynamic little boys, Jeffery Heard II, age 6, and Joshua, age 4. She believes that her first ministry is to her family and serves as a basketball and baseball coach for her children’s sports teams.
She has served in Rohi Temple Of Reconciliation as the Worship Leader, womens ministry coordinator, youth and young adult coordinator, and church administrator. She has taught Adult Sunday school classes, discipleship classes and preaches a dynamic word on Sunday mornings.
Pastor Sheyna is also an avid business woman. She is the President and CEO of Rohi Alternative Community Outreach, a non-profit organization designed to help meet the needs of youth in the East San Jose Community. She manages over 40 people of staff and volunteers. She is an entrepreneur with a thriving Real Estate Investment business. A native of St.Louis, MO, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and she holds a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Sheyna is best known, not for the things above, but for her love of the Lord. She seeks to spend time alone with God each day but admits that it is often a challenge with a busy schedule and a small child. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, reading, running and shopping.
With echoes of her husband’s dynamic preaching style, Sheyna boldly challenges others to develop a close relationship with Jesus Christ, receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and walk as Spirit-filled leaders in the communities. The Rohi Temple Of Reconciliation family attributes Sheyna’s wisdom and leadership to the emphasis she places on a close personal relationship with God.

However, it was in Northern California that she met and married her best friend and prayer partner, Apostle Anthony White. Together they have six children and seven grandchildren with #8 on the way.
From a young age Jeri felt the call of ministry on her life. But was it not until 2001 that she answered the call and was licensed as a minister. In 2012 she was ordained as Pastor by her husband.
After most of her children were grown, Jeri decided to return to school. After many long hours of study, homework and papers, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then returned for a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She currently works at a non-profit Community Mental Health organization and is registered with California’s Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
Jeri and her husband have a marriage ministry entitled “We Still Do” where they use biblical principles and humor to encourage and teach couples how to build and/or maintain a health marital relationship. Jeri takes ministry seriously and is always humbled when asked to minister. Her vision is to empower women, marriages, families (especially blended families) spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
